Maranatha E-Church is an online pentacostal church for the online community. Our main message is about the coming of Christ and the End Times.

 

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE? 

 

 We believe:

 1. A triune (3-in-1) God manifesting as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. In die Word of God as die highest authority.

3. In baptism of the believes through immersion.

4. In die baptism of the Holy Spirit to be witnesses.

5. That the Holy Spirit resides in us.

6. In the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

7. In the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) for the perfecting of the saints.

8. In the power of prayer.

9. That Jesus (Yeshua) died on the cross and was resurrected by the Father.

10. In the End Times according to Revelation and the Old Testament prophets.

11. In the resurrection of the dead and Judgment Day.

 MISSION

To fulfill the commission given by Christ in Matthew 28 verse 19 to 20 and related verses.

So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. And, remember, I am with you until the end of time.

 IN MEMORY OF PASTOR STEPHNIE HESTER LANE

 

 Two of our leaders, Pastor Magda Grobbelaar-Sampson and Pastor Mike Sampson, lost a very close friend and pastor, Stephnie Hester Lane. Stephnie would have been part of this ministry, but she passed away on March 9, 2020 from pneumonia...

She was a loving person that cared a lot for her fellow man, both spiritually and physically. They met in 1994 while she was running a care center for destitute people and Pastor Magda and Pastor Mike were destitute at that stage. Shortly after joining the care center all three of them enrolled for the Diploma in Theology offered by Elim Theological College that closed down about a year after they graduated.

 

May her soul rest in peace. We will meet again, sister...

 Our Apostle and Head Pastor, Henta Pretorius, lost her husband a few years ago. He would have been part of this ministry too...

Pastor Ben Pretorius was a true man of God, loving the Word of God and made people experience God's love. Today people speak about how he made them feel. He and Pastor Henta were married 45 years before he went to be with the LORD on 27 March 2019. One golden daybreak we will meet again...
